Sacher, Zelman, Hartman, Paul, Beiley & Rolnick, P.A. (the "Firm") is a highly regarded and recognized boutique law firm located in Miami, Florida which concentrates its practice in the areas of complex securities, banking, and commercial litigation, corporate/securities, banking and other business transactions, and Reinsurance. To provide full service in these areas, the Firm also practices in the areas of state and federal regulations, corporations, real estate, bankruptcy, insurance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and white collar crime.

The Firm's Litigation Department:

Sacher, Zelman's litigation department is comprised of experienced litigators, including two directors of the Firm who previously held senior trial attorney positions in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Since leaving the SEC, Messrs. Sacher and Hartman have practiced with distinction in Miami, achieving significant trial victories when required, while successfully resolving multi-million dollar cases and claims, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, prior to trial whenever possible. We are comfortable, experienced and respected in all state and federal courts, state and federal administrative tribunals, all arbitration fora, and in all forms of international dispute resolution.

Litigation Directors:

Barton S. Sacher, the Firm's President, is the former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Chief of Investigations and Enforcement for the Southeastern United States. Mr. Sacher graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law with highest honors and clerked for one of the foremost U.S. District Court trial judges in the nation. Mr. Sacher has both extensive private practice and government securities litigation experience spanning 30 years.

Stanley A. Beiley is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney -- a true "lawyer's lawyer" -- who has successfully litigated cases before all levels of Florida federal and state trial and appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court, during his 40 years of practice. Mr. Beiley graduated from Columbia University School of Law. He is a former name partner with Paul Landy Beiley & Harper, Florida's first in-depth international law firm.

Roy M. Hartman is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law. Following a stint as an Enforcement Attorney and Trial Counsel for the SEC's Miami Branch Office, Mr. Hartman was a Senior Associate at the Miami law firm of Mershon, Sawyer, Johnston, Dunwoody & Cole and the Miami office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Mr. Hartman is an active member of the creditors' and bankruptcy bar.

Alan H. Rolnick's practice concentrates on class actions and complex commercial and business tort litigation, including antitrust, securities, consumer fraud, intellectual property, media, entertainment, construction and contract law matters. Mr. Rolnick is a member of the Florida Bar and the Bars of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, including Trial Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District Florida, the Third, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Tax Court.

Joseph Sacher , is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Sacher previously served as and previously practiced exclusively in white collar crime matters as an intern for the SEC in Atlanta and has both defended SEC actions and assisted in the prosecution of multi-million dollar complex civil litigation matters in federal court.

All of the Firm's Litigation Directors are active trial attorneys. They are supported by the Firm's younger, very able Associate attorneys.

Litigation Associate Attorneys:

Robert E. Linkin's practice focuses on both the transactional and litigation arenas. Mr. Linkin has handled various civil and criminal matters around the United States,  handling more than 10 jury and judge trials from voir dire to completion.  He is admitted to practice in both Texas and New Jersey, and is awaiting admission to the Florida Bar.
